Welcome to Thursday Art and Dinner Date! This week’s optional art prompt (and dinner prompt I suppose!) is “Bakery”! Tweety Bird is side-hustling as a pastry chef these days, making yummy cakes!
I drew Tweety Bird with pencil on my sketch pad, then took a photo and uploaded it to my computer. I used my graphic design tablet and my photo editing software to outline and add color.
I turned my illustration into a PNG file and found a royalty-free background on Pixabay. Then, I superimposed Tweety onto the background! I forgot how much fun this was!

You always do such a good job drawing Tweety. I’m working on an old Looney Tunes sketch and am having a difficult time getting him just right. Mmm, when I think of muffins I think of blueberry muffins.Yum! I imagine your carrot muffins taste like carrot cake. 🙂 I remember how it blew my mind the first time some said, would you like a slice of carrot cake? I thought it was a joke. lol
That is very cute!
Bake looks so good.
Dear Rain, a cute Tweety baker and delicious looking muffins! I’m happy to snack on them! 🙂 My current post does feature a few baked goods, e.g. delicious monastery doughnuts and the apricot cake that my cousin baked. All the best, Traude https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2024/07/ruckschau-auf-den-rest-vom-mai-2024-und.html
Tweety is cute and teaching kids is great!
You sure have skills and talents! Great work, Rain. And taking in those pups is wonderful!
Now, do you share your food, sell your food? I don’t know how you do it.
We’re struggling with COVID, and not cooking up any storm.
All the best!
Oh no Jenn!!! Covid still??? A friend of mine has it too. I’m thinking about going back to the mask. I hope you heal soon! Thanks so much for your comment! ♥
